Good news: Beaver Ave is finally getting repaved!
Bad news: It’s going to make getting to the clinic a bit of a hassle in July (and maybe August).
Beaver Avenue will be under construction throughout July 2026 (possibly longer!). I’ll keep this page updated as much as possible with the most recent conditions/closures, but the short version is: plan for delays and give yourself extra time to get to the clinic.
The map to the right (or below, on mobile) has the different phases of the construction, and the updated dates of each phase are below. During construction of each segment, the road will have lane closures, and for 1-2 days, the section will be closed entirely. These dates can change due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances, so your best bet is to avoid Beaver Ave during the construction window so you don’t need to wonder!
Construction Phases (on Beaver Ave between the following blocks)
Franklin Ave → Hickman Road - Starting July 13 July 27
Urbandale Ave → Ovid Ave (south of the clinic) - Starting July 20
Ovid Ave → Douglas Ave (right in front of the clinic) - Starting July 27
The largest impact to the clinic will be Stage 3 - the road in front of the clinic will be under construction for at least a week, so you will need to use Euclid Ave to access the clinic parking lot on the north end.
Please plan for extra time to get to your appointment! Unfortunately, the late policy will still apply, even if construction caused the delay, so I can keep everyone’s appointments on track. I appreciate your help!
Updates
7/20/26: Stage 1 construction (Beaver Ave from Franklin Ave to Hickman Rd) will start Monday, July 27!
7/14/26: Construction on Stage 1 hasn’t started yet and there aren’t any closure signs up yet. Once the repaving of Hickman is complete, they will start on Beaver Ave - hopefully next week! (More info here!)
