Same-day Sliding Scale
Appointments
I offer same-day sliding-scale appointments when available. These appointments are for current patients who have been seen in the clinic in the last month or so, and are only for a typical 60-minute appointment with acupuncture. I am offering these appointments on a sliding scale from $55-85 - see the guide below for various price point examples!
How it works:
Email me (kate@fireweedacupuncture.com) to let me know that you want to be added to the Same-Day Sliding Scale notification list.
If there are available appointments, I will email out the appointment times anytime between the afternoon before to the morning of the available appointments. These appointments are first come, first serve.
If an appointment time works for you, you will reply to the email and let me know which time(s) you will be able to make.
I will email you back to confirm if you’ve gotten the appointment; once you have received the confirmation, that appointment is now yours and the typical cancellation policy will apply.
If the appointment slot has been filled before your email, I will email you back to let you know that it is no longer available.
Because these appointments will be made within a 24-hour window, there will be no opportunity to cancel without a fee - any same-day cancellations will be subject to the $45 cancellation fee. Please keep this in mind when signing up, and only agree to an appointment time you know you’ll be able to make!

Sliding-Scale Guide
As a general guide:
$85 is the full cost for an appointment and is recommended for those who are not currently struggling to meet their needs.
$70 is recommended for people who can generally meet their basic needs but would struggle with unexpected expenses.
$55 is recommended for people who struggle to meet their basic needs and is typically the minimum cost for an appointment.
